Even if you don’t stay here, it’s worth the hike up the top of the cliff to catch the sunset and amazing panoramic views around the bay.

Many of our staff have lived at Sammy’s at one time or another. Furnished with a fridge (on request), a 4 poster bed complete with mosquito net, coffee table and chairs/ sofa, wardrobe and a large balcony.
Kantiang Bay View Resort- 400 THB – 2,500 THB per night
Kantiang Bay View Resort is an inexpensive, backpacker-style resort located directly on the fabulous beach in Kantiang Bay, in the southern part of Ko Lanta. Kantiang Bay View is the cheapest beach-side Thai accommodation in the bay, including air-conditioned rooms and basic bamboo rooms with a fan and mosquito net. All rooms are en-suite and most bungalows are situated on the beach, each with a small veranda.
