Instructor Exam (IE) – 2.5 days

Upon successful completion of your IDC, you are ready to progress to the IE. The PADI Instructor Examination Fee is 710 AUD. This amount is not included in our price and has to be paid seperately to PADI by credit card (no cash payments possible).

The Instructor Examination (IE) is where you get to demonstrate what you’ve learned during the IDC. An independent PADI Instructor Examiner objectively assesses your knowledge and skills, testing everything from dive theory to PADI training standards. Good preparation and a relaxed and clear head will help you prove to the examiner that you are ready to be an Instructor. This is what we will help you with in the prep and the IDC.

PADI is the only certification organization that requires an objective, independent examination to qualify as a professional instructor. This balanced and consistent evaluation process is one of the hallmarks that makes PADI professionals the most demanded and respected instructors in the dive industry.

Pass Guarantee

We are so confident that we will prepare you with more than it takes to pass the IE, that we provide a succesful IDC to IE pass guarantee! This means that if you successfully pass our IDC but are unsuccessful at your first IE, we will pay for your second IE. We will go over any areas you need extra help with to ensure a successful second attempt (there’s a minimum 5 day wait between IE’s).
