EFR Instuctor Course
EFR Instructor Course 1-2 days
Effective March 2009, all PADI Instructor candidates must be current
Emergency First Response Instructors (or hold a qualifying rating) before they sit the IE.
The Emergency First Response Instructor course (EFRI) trains Divemasters and Instructors how to teach the Emergency First Response Primary Care (CPR), Secondary Care (First Aid) and Care for Children courses.
Also because the Emergency First Response course is not diving specific, you can offer this training to all your divers, non divers, friends and family.
Prerequisites
Have completed a sanctioned course in adult and child/infant CPR within the past 24 months
Have completed a sanctioned course in basic first aid within the past 24 months
