EFR Instuctor Course

EFR Instructor Course 1-2 days

Effective as of March 2009, all PADI Instructor candidates must be current Emergency First Response Instructors (or hold a qualifying rating) before they sit the IE.


The Emergency First Response Instructor Course (EFRI) trains Divemasters and Instructors how to teach the Emergency First Response Primary Care (CPR), Secondary Care (First Aid) and Care for Children Courses.

The Emergency First Response Course is not diving specific, allowing you to offer this training to divers, non divers, friends and family, and even local schools.


Prerequisites

To take the EFRI Course you must:

  • Have completed a sanctioned course in adult and child/infant CPR within the past 24 months
  • Have completed a sanctioned course in basic first aid within the past 24 months

    • Emergency First Response Course Knowledge Reviews

    From your EFR and CFC courses you should already have the following, if you do not you will need to purchase them:
